Call for Proposals: Special/Focused Sessions

The 2026 Asia Pacific Microwave Conference (APMC 2026) steering committee cordially invites proposals for special and focused sessions. Special sessions may include young professional, women in microwaves, memorial, and other ones, while focused sessions may provide new emerging technologies and hot topics in the RF/microwave/millimeter-wave/terahertz fields. Special and focused session organizers are encouraged to fill in the form below to provide the proposed topic and the scope.
Proposals for Special and Focused Session must be received by March 2, 2026.

Focused Sessions concern new or emerging topics with the aim of broadening the scope or advancing general understanding, whereas Special Sessions should reflect specific (historical or recent) events of interest to the microwave community or recognize lifetime achievements. The recommended number of speakers per half-session (3 hours) is five for both Special and Focused Sessions.
The proposal should provide the following information:
- 1. Session Organizer(s) (Name, Affiliation, Email)
- 2. Session Type (Focused Session / Special Session)
- 3. Topic of the Session to Propose
- 4. Abstract of the Session (less than 200 words)
- 5. Expected Attendance
- 6. Detailed Informations of speakers (Name, Affiliation, Email, Presentation Title, Abstract)
